In 2018, Crystal Sims joined Henderson Banks Law. Ms. Sims concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, including medical malpractice, automobile negligence, premises liability, and products liability. Ms. Sims also focuses on employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and sexual harassment in the workplace.
Ms. Sims is a native of Wisconsin, but she has served many communities prior to becoming a licensed attorney. Ms. Sims’ focus and passion for clients stems from over ten (10) years of serving as a community representative.
Ms. Sims is a member of various professional organizations, including the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and Illinois State Bar Association. Ms. Sims is also a founding member of The Chicago Lawyers Collective, an organization that provides free legal assistance to underserved communities.
Ms. Sims received her Duel Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a Concentration in Law from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside and her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, now UIC John Marshall Law School. While at John Marshall, Ms. Sims clerked for a national corporate defense law firm and she clerked at a mid-size personal injury law firm where she gained extensive experience with personal injury cases. Additionally, she volunteered with the law school’s Restorative Justice Program in Chicago Public Schools.
In addition to her dedication to justice for her clients, Ms. Sims also devotes her time to beauty pageant consulting with Queen’s Counsel, Raising the Bar in Pageantry and volunteering for the Miss Illinois USA and Miss Illinois Teen USA pageant.
